Our students' NASA TechRise payload has been launched into the South Dakota stratosphere! It's now retrieved and students will receive it back this year to use the flight data to measure changes in ultraviolet and thermal radiation. 8th Graders “Invest With Me” presentations to a “Shark Tank” panel of community partners were a huge hit! As part of their Cornerstone projects, students came up with some very creative start-up business concepts! Thanks to our “Sharks” for sharing their feedback and expertise with our 11 Cornerstone finalists! This has been a very authentic learning experience for all involved!
Congrats to the 65 students in grades 5-8 who received 2022-23 Mountaineer Recognition Awards for going above and beyond while demonstrating many #EASDLifeReady traits. Congrats, Mountaineers!
