Representing 13 school districts across Lancaster and Lebanon counties, these students are coming together to collaborate, learn, and perform under the direction of Guest Conductor Dr. Scott Watson.

Middle School Mountaineers in the Spotlight! These talented students represented EASD beautifully at the LLMEA Middle School County Orchestra Festival, recently hosted at Palmyra Area Middle School. They were selected to perform based upon their dedication, musicianship, and character they embody. Well done, Mountaineers!
EASD was well represented at this year’s Invention Convention! Out of more than 400 entries across the state, three EASD teams earned a spot among the top 50 in Pennsylvania and presented recently in Hershey alongside fellow young innovators from across the Commonwealth. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication to this academic challenge.

Now through March 31, round up at the GIANT register to support the Feeding School Kids initiative and help EASD students in need. GIANT will match donations up to $100,000!

A group of Mountaineers recently joined middle school singers from across central PA for a one-day choral festival at Lebanon Valley College, learning new techniques from college musicians and performing new music together. A great experience for both young singers and several future educators! EASD students represented our school with talent and pride!

Applesauce Day marked its 3rd year of this sweet tradition! EIMS students teamed up to rinse, peel, and chop apples before enjoying fun apple-themed activities like tasting, tote bag painting, and sensory play. It was a day full of teamwork and smiles!
The fun and learning are sky-high on this half day! From the middle school Clash of Classes to elementary STEAM Days, students are making memories through hands-on, high-energy experiences. On National Dog Day we’re celebrating our two amazing Facility Dogs, Izzy and Bentley, who bring comfort and joy to everyone they meet. Bentley works hard every day reminding us what true loyalty looks like, while Izzy… well, let’s just say she’s balancing her time between her Facility Dog duties and moonlighting at Penn State. Rumor has it she’s working on her degree in “Advanced Belly Rub Studies” with a minor in Treat Negotiations. Thank you, Izzy and Bentley, for the pawsitive impact you make every single day!
