Congrats to our National Art Honor Society students on the completion of another outstanding mural on display in our District Office board room. The creativity and collaboration are evident and will be enjoyed for many years to come!

A huge thank you to Todd from Sahd Metal Recycling for recently speaking with over 70 freshmen. His #EASDLifeReady presentation demonstrated dedication to sustainability and education as a whole, which will undoubtedly inspire our students.

This afternoon, we hosted our annual Retirement Reception to celebrate 13 beloved Mountaineers and over 323 years of combined service to EASD! Congratulations and best wishes in retirement. See all of our retirees here: https://youtu.be/qonOArER3Y8

Our annual EASD ESL picnic was a huge success! 40+ families attended and brought food to share, local organizations shared how they can help families thrive, and games were organized by EHS Leo Club students. Thanks to our ESL families and staff who make this a successful event each year!

Best wishes to these Mountaineers who are taking the #MountsPride to Shippensburg University for the state track meet!

There is no school for students tomorrow Friday, May 24 and Monday, May 27. Best wishes for a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

What to do with outdated t-shirts? EHS students in Clothing & Design classes created these quilts with Mini-Thon t-shirts from previous school years. They were then raffled off at the Mini-Thon Duck Derby to raise money for Four Diamonds! Nice work, Mountaineers!

Meet A Mountaineer

This week, the students in the EHS Life Skills Support class traveled to Akron Elementary School to mentor fellow Mountaineers in an elementary Life Skills Support class. They practiced safety in the community by walking to W Donuts and social skills by playing games, interacting, and eating lunch together.

Congrats to our girls track team on another amazing season! Their 7-0 season landed them as the 2024 Section Champs! #MountsPride
These Mountaineers are still going strong in the WGAL BrainBusters competition. Watch them in round 3 of the competition versus Cedar Crest tomorrow, Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 PM.
Congrats to the the Mountaineers inducted into the Tri-M Music Honors Society last evening!

EHS seniors are sharing their expertise with incoming freshmen to help all feel prepared, excited, hopeful, and most of all, a sense of belonging!

While some call it Teacher Appreciation Week, we embrace STAFF Appreciation Week at EASD. As this week draws to a close, we celebrate the commendable work of our entire Mountaineer team and the role they play in inspiring ALL students to reach their full potential. #MountsPride

EHS Mountaineer Addi recently shadowed local realtor Marion Rutt and experienced a world of property listings, staging, photography, floor plans, buyer searches, and more! According to Ms. Rutt, "She showed enthusiasm every step of the way!"
Way to go, Addi!
