Ever wonder what it’s like to be a student for a day? For the 10th year in a row, EASD administrators are taking on the #ShadowAStudent challenge to walk in students' shoes and gain new insights on a variety of learning experiences. Here, EHS assistant principal Mrs. Calhoun is participating in choir rehearsal and a science lab. Great work, Mountaineers!

School Board Resolutions included the recognitions of a variety of student achievements in music, FFA, and more. Additionally, Clay Elementary School principal Dr. Christopher Montagna was honored for recently earning a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Congrats, Mountaineers!

Nothing but smiles on Mountaineer Pride Fridays!

Happy New Year! It was great to kick off 2025 with so many smiling faces today!

Join us in congratulating these Mountaineers who completed the six-week Attollo program, meeting before school at 6AM three times a week, and focusing on the Six Pillars – Strong Mind, Competition, Resiliency, Accountability, Sacrifice, and Finishing Strong. Students set individualized plans of action and can now also solve the Rubiks Cube in under two minutes. IMPRESSIVE! Students shared they feel empowered by their hard work and dedication and “feel like they can accomplish anything.” #MountsPride #EASDLifeReady
