Mounts Pride filled the gym during today’s EHS Homecoming Pep Rally! From friendly competitions to our staff’s masked-singer performances, the excitement was contagious. Happy Homecoming Weekend, Mountaineers! The festivities continue at tonight’s game and tomorrow’s dance. 💜💛

Fulton Elementary School was full of carnival-themed fun and learning today! From creating a balloon mural to constructing roller-coaster marble tracks and more, students put collaboration, teamwork, creativity, and many other #EASDLifeReady traits into action. A special shoutout to the Ephrata High School students who helped lead the stations and worked alongside our younger Mountaineers.

Additionally, with construction taking place at both Fulton and Highland Elementary Schools this summer, those playgrounds are currently closed. Thank you for your understanding and continued best wishes for a safe and happy summer break!

School may be out for summer, but our Mountaineers continue their learning.

Today, EHS social studies teachers visited the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley for a private tour of the museum and library, including an opportunity to use a 19th-century printing press! They had a great time exploring local history and look forward to incorporating what they learned with students next school year.

Our graduating seniors were welcomed with enthusiastic cheers, handmade signs, and countless high-fives from our youngest learners lining the halls when they returned to their elementary schools today. Along the way, they reconnected with former teachers, revisited old classrooms, and reflected on how far they’ve come. This heartwarming tradition is cherished by students, staff, and especially our graduates. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

At this year’s Senior Awards Ceremony, nearly 100 seniors received awards and scholarships totaling approximately $1.9 MILLION! The generosity of our community never ceases to amaze us. Thank you for continuing to bless our deserving students and their families year after year. Your support is helping shape bright futures for the next generation.

Huge congratulations to Zoey Mohler and her team from Lancaster County Career & Technology Center! They earned first place in the 2026 SkillsUSA District Photography Promotional Competition, qualifying them for the PA SkillsUSA Championship, where they placed fourth in the state! This week, Zoey also received a School Board Resolution honoring her outstanding achievement, creativity, and hard work. Well done, Zoey!

At this week’s school board meeting, students in the National Art Honor Society unveiled the fourth phase of their mural project, a beautiful work symbolizing hope and happiness.

Each year, students create a new panel that is displayed in the district office board room, leaving a lasting legacy of creativity and inspiration.

Applauding the EHS students who attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Hershey... They learned a lot and were inspired by a personalized pep talk from Sheila Jones, CEO of Whicked Results, who encouraged students to embrace growth, resilience, and new opportunities. Her message left students motivated, confident, and better prepared for their next steps as future business leaders.

We are proud to have a group of students join Dr. Dietz and over 100 educators and advocates at the PA Capitol to raise awareness on a variety of needs to combat the state’s teacher shortage. Their message: Supporting future teachers is critical to equity, workforce stability, and student success. Well done, Mountaineers!
