Ephrata High School senior Nicholas Ryan has been awarded a 2025 National Merit® Brady Corporation Scholarship, one of only 830 recipients in the United States.
Among all students who entered the 2025 National Merit® Scholarship Program, approximately 15,000 were named finalists based upon PSAT and SAT scores, an outstanding academic record, written essay, and extracurricular activities. Designations were allocated based on each state's proportion of the national total of graduating high school seniors.
“It is a great honor to receive a National Merit® Scholarship. I am proud to have my dedication to and achievements in my studies and extracurriculars recognized at a national level,” Nicholas shared.
Nicholas will be attending Lehigh University and studying mechanical engineering and finance in their Integrated Business and Engineering program. “In the future, I hope to use my technical knowledge and leadership abilities to make a positive impact on the world around me, both in my career and in my personal life,” he concluded.
