Registered incoming Kindergarten families will receive information to sign up for a 20-minute assessment timeslot. Children may participate at ANY building; the assessment does not need to be completed at their home building.

Ready for Kindergarten Tips

We understand that arranging before and after school care for your child can be challenging. For families with extenuating circumstances (i.e. day care, work schedule, etc.) we try to honor requests for AM or PM kindergarten sessions when possible. If your family has a need for a specific session, please reach out to the building principal BY MAY 1st to make this request. If you are unsure of your child’s building assignment, call the District Office at 717-721-1400.

The week before school begins, visit your principal, meet your teacher, and tour your new school. Specific dates will be communicated in advance.
