Highland students and their families enjoyed an evening of reading fun at Family Reading Night January 28th. Several teachers shared stories about winter fun and summer adventures. Students also had the opportunity to borrow RAFA books for reading at home and they enjoyed a treat provided by the PTO.
Mrs. Murphy read the story The Mitten with the students. Mr. Shelley shared a story about summer fun; A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever. Mrs. Smith delighted her listeners with Help – A Story of Friendship. Mrs. Carlson entertained her crowd with Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.
It was an enjoyable night for all the participants.
