Getting Pumped up for PSSA

To prepare for the week of Pennsylvania State Testing, Highland's principal, Mr. Cucciuffo decided to energize the staff and students with a pep rally. The event kicked off with an ice cream party for third, fourth, and fifth gade students to celebrate improvement in their quarterly 4Sight scores. After the ice cream treat first, second, and kindergarten teachers and students were invited to attend the pep rally with special guest "Screw-ball", the mascot for the Reading Phillies.
Mr. Cucciuffo gave some incentives for the students to do well on the tests, Starting with "Highland at the Reading Phillies" free tickets vouchers. He also, promised the students they would get to vote for him to be in a dunk tank or dress in all purple including face paint if 75% of the scores are proficient or advanced. Students with perfect attendence the week of PSSA will be entered in a drawing to throw the first pitch at the Reading Phillies Game. Both one girl and one boy will be chosen. Mr. Cucciuffo has made an impact on all the students who had hoped to score proficient or advance on the PSSA testing.
