Officer Phil Program

     Highland Elementary was able to experience a fun educational assembly on saftey education. The Officer Phil Program incorperates magic and fun into serious situations. Students in grades kindergarten through 4th grade were taught the ABC's of saftey: Attitude, Buses and Bicycles, and Computers and Cars. Officer Phil gave several senario's, teaching the students what to do when confronted by an adult, see a stray dog, or find a gun. Students were able to learn important saftey tips while being involved and having fun.
