Local Celebrity Visits Highland

   The 2nd grade classes at Highland Elementary were visited by meteorologist, Dr. John Scala from WGAL-8 to talk about air and weather. He shared three experiments with the water in its 3 states of matter.
   The students also saw a video presentation of thunder and storms. The students went to the next day to see the WGAL-8-Weather station and where/how Dr. John Scala produces the weather forecasts. Air and weather is part of their second grade science curriculum.
