Thanksgiving Feast

First graders from Highland Elementary's Mrs. Rhine's, Mrs. Walters', Mrs. Frymyer's, and Mrs. Etkin's classes celebrated Thanksgiving with a feast. The first graders reenacted the way they thought the first Thanksgiving feast happened. Dressed in feathers and bonnets, the first graders couldn't sit still as the food and drinks were being passed out. On the menu was turkey, carrots, celery, fruit salad, apple sauce, and popcorn. For dessert nothing less than a piece of pumpkin pie. Upon the words "Let the feast begin," all of the jittery first graders dug into their delicious lunch.
