80th Anniversary Celebration

    On Friday, April 11 at 4:00pm the community came together to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the school. In 1928 Highland Elementary was actually the Ephrata High school later changing to the elementary school in 1959 after the current high school was built. Those who previously graduated from the old high school were invited to come back and see all the changes along with pictures of the first classes, and renovations. Music was accompanied by the EHS orchestra. Food and beverages were provided. Old students were thrilled to see all the changes of the school and old classmates including one who actually graduated from the first class in 1928. The celebration turned out a success as the community gathered together to show improvements on a school everyone has come to know.
