Students Dressed Up For the Occasion   There Were Many Activities For the Students

On Monday, March 3, Fulton Elementary celebrated Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's birthday by having special centers for the students. The aroma of eggs spread throughout the classrooms as the children got a taste of green eggs, in honor of one of their favorite books Green Eggs and Ham. There were many other fun activities for the students to complete such as voting and graphing their favorite Dr. Seuss story and playing Dr. Seuss Bingo. Some children tried to imitate Dr. Seuss's writing style by listing words that rhyme on a hat, while others colored a pattern on a Cat in the Hat hat.
The children enjoyed celebrating this extraordinary day with the fun centers set up for them, and honoring the great author of many of their favorite stories.
