Planting for a Brighter Future at Fulton The kindergarten students at Fulton Elementary are working to make a better world. On Thursday, April 10th, presenters and volunteers came to teach the students about plants and how they affect the environment. The students learned about everything from photosynthesis, soil, and to how the root system works. They have been studying the inner workings of plants for the past couple of weeks and the presenters allowed them to put their knowledge to action. Each student planted an array of different seeds in plastic cups, which will one day be put outside. With the environment’s future in the hands of their generation, every little plant can make a difference.
