Kindergartener Participating in the Easter Egg Hunt   The Kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt

On Thursday, March 20, the kindergarten students had a fun day full of exciting activities in order to celebrate Easter before break. There were many centers for the children to enjoy, which included loads of crafts and games. They made bunny masks, made Easter cards for members of their family, and decorated Easter eggs. The kindergartners also wrote stories about what would be inside of a giant egg, and even got to play "Egg Bingo." They made “bunny snacks” using pear halves, raisins, carrots, and pretzel sticks.
The most exciting part of the day was the Easter egg hunt which took place in the playground. Parents of the kindergartners volunteered throughout the day in each of the centers. The parents also helped make the day special by donating eggs for the hunt, which were filled with candy and other surprises. Each kindergartner was able to take home 21 eggs at the end of the hunt.
