“What is a bully?” This is what principal Mr. Legath talked about during the monthly R.E.A.C.H. talk at Clay. This month’s session was focused on avoiding conflicts with bullies. Students seized every opportunity to get involved in the discussion by raising their hands to give answers.
Mr. Legath discussed how to identify a bully and what to do if confronted by one. He emphasized standing up for each other if another student is being bullied, or to tell an adult. Bullying should never cause someone to have bad dreams or consider not coming to school. It needs to be stopped right away. Next month they will finish discussing the problem of bullying.
