On Tuesday, January 22, at 6:30 p.m., Akron All-Star students arrived at Akron Elementary ready to “snuggle up and read.” Akron PTO and “Akron Mystery Readers,” host this wonderful night providing each student with a “book buck.” Each student picked out a free book provided from Reading Matters, Inc., with his or her “book buck”.
     Parents and students came in their pajamas and brought their favorite stuff animal. They got to travel from room to room listening to stories read by different Akron All-Star faculty members. Light refreshments were also provided that night. Students stayed until 8:30 p.m. and then headed home.
