On December 6, Akron All-Star 5th graders charged into the cafeteria and found 8 special guests who had come to tell them about different career options. Occupations such as environmental educator, news editor, registered nurse, website designer, chemist, surgical tech, chiropractor, and bank branch manger were presented.
   The kids were assigned to keep track of the presenter's name and employer, job title and responsibilities, education requirements, and most and least favorite work activity.
  The kids got to see items that the presenters use on the job and even got to keep a few. The program really helped the students to better their understanding of various careers.
