Congratulations to Mrs. Rubeck's 4th grade class for this week's Banner Class.
   Each class of the school has the opportunity to be "celebrated" during their banner week. The class that is being honored displays the Akron Banner at their doorway for the entire week assigned. They also read the oath and/or pledge on the announcements. The students are encouraged to share their poems on the announcements during their assigned week. At the end of the week the banner is returned to the office.
  In addition to helping with the announcements, the students also have the opportunity to receive five extra minutes of recess each day they are holding the banner.
