Everyone knows America as a melting pot because it is such a diverse land. At Akon Elementary School, there are students from a total of 10 different countries besides the U.S.
    In the lobby, there is a Akron All-Star map displayed on the wall with each foreign student's name on a star that points to the country that they're from. The stars pointed at the countries Puerto Rico, Honduras, Chile, Germany, Ukraine, Belaros, Russia, Ethiopia, Nepal, and the Philippines.
    Akron Elementary School displays a variety of cultures by teaching students from foreign regions all over the world.
