Do you like to work with computers? Do you like to design or draw things? We now are instructing drafting using Auto CAD 2007 – the latest most powerful Computer-Aided Drafting program, or CAD. The following courses will benefit students planning further education at colleges or technical schools for programs in architecture, engineering, interior design, drafting, manufacturing, tool and die design, construction, engineering technology, computer-aided drafting, and computer-aided manufacturing and computer numerical controlled machining (CNC). Drafting courses will also assist students planning careers as construction workers or CNC machinists. Underclassmen interested in the Career & Technology Center’s drafting program will gain valuable experience toward this program.
