Personal and Business Law

Law touches every aspect of our lives--from before we are born until after we die.  All law develops as a result of the activities of people and needs to be considered in the context of human experience.   For example, can you think of a law that was in effect 100 years ago that is outdated by today's standards?  Or, how about a recently enacted law that would have seemed ridiculous or unnecessary a hundred years ago?

In this course we will study many aspects and examples of legal issues.  The objective of this course is to make you more aware of your rights and responsibilities pertaining to the law.  You will be learning many new terms that are necessary for your understanding of the issues of law.   As you progress through this course, you will be impressed with how well you understand legal issues in the news!
