Concert Etiquette

Our students have worked very hard on the programs they present. When listening, to give them the respect they have earned:

Please refrain from talking during the performance.
Please stay for the entire program.
In the event you must leave or re-enter, please wait until the applause.
Manners and courtesy make the evening enjoyable for everyone!

Additionally, at times longer works have several movements with a slight break between each one. These will be listed as sub-items under the work's title, and are much like multiple chapters to a book. Just as one would only congratulate an author after reading the whole book (not after several chapters), so it is only appropriate to clap after the last movement. If in doubt, let others lead out.
