Criticism Assignment

Each student will be assigned one of the following areas of criticism.  Using the links below, learn about your critical theory.  Then, reread the story with your theory in mind.  Make notes about the work using the critical perspective you were assigned.

 After you have discussed your critical perspective with other critics of the same theory, you will jigsaw into another group of separate theorists to share your ideas.  You will then decide as a group which critical theory is best for studying this short story.
