Post Prom was a Winter Wonderland

After Prom over 300 EHS Students and their guests had the opportunity to enjoy the “Winter Wonderland” created by the EHS Post Prom Committee.  It was hard to recognize the school cafeteria with all the wonderful decorations.  Ice castles, mountains, hills of snow, fields of evergreens, snowboarders and more helped create the “cool” theme for all to enjoy.  Students enjoyed dancing, casino games, Bingo, mini golf and more.  Great prizes were awarded at the end of the evening to top off this wonderful event. 

It takes thousands of dollars of donated goods, services and monetary gifts to make this event a success.  Local businesses, individuals, community organizations all gave to support the Post Prom. 

Volunteers are the heart of the Ephrata Post Prom.  A planning committee of volunteers works year round to make this event happen.  30 to 40 volunteers work all weekend long to set up, and eventually, tear down the Post Prom decorations.  These dedicated parents, grandparents, past EHS students and community members give of their valuable time to make sure the students of EHS have a fun and safe place to go after Prom.
