Dear Coaches, Parents, and Student-Athletes:
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association (PSADA) is conducting a research project to assess the status of scholastic sport in Pennsylvania. We would like to better understand what those most directly involved in scholastic sport (student-athletes, coaches, and parents) feel is the purpose of sport in schools and how sport participation is affecting student-athletes’ personal, social, athletic, and academic development.
We would like to invite you to take part in this study to contribute information about your experiences with scholastic sport. You will be asked to complete an on-line survey comprised of a series of questions to assess your experiences with and views on scholastic sport.
All information you provide will be completely anonymous and no information will be linked back to you or your school. Your responses will be combined with all others received from across the state of Pennsylvania to create a handbook for athletes, coaches, parents, athletic directors, and other school administrators. There are no foreseen risks to you by taking part in this study.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time. If you are willing to participate in this study, please click on the appropriate category below and you should be taken directly to the survey. Please only participate in one survey.
