The mission of the
Ephrata Area School District is to provide quality
educational programs, which enable and inspire all students to reach their
full potential as life-long learners and responsible contributing members
of society.
Located in the
northeast corner of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the Ephrata Area
School District provides
exceptional public education to nearly 4,000 students in Kindergarten
through Grade 12 in
eight facilities. With nearly
300 teachers and 200 support staff employed, the District offers the best in
education, from innovative programs to technology in every classroom.
Our
graduating Class of 2008 was the largest in District history. They received
nearly $2.1 million in scholarships to continue
their education. Of that same graduating class, 70% planned to attend a 2
or 4-year college program after high school.
